I said I would share the top 10 places to visit in Paris, but it’s pretty hard because Paris is full of so many unique places to discover! Here are a few bonus places you should consider adding to your itinerary in Paris.
1. Disneyland Paris
If you’re traveling with kids or just looking for a fun and exciting way to spend the day, you should consider a day trip to Disneyland Paris.
This top theme park is home to some of your favorite characters and offers many rides and attractions that will delight both young and old alike!
I bought a 1-day pass to Disneyland Paris and had such a fabulous day at the park – from seeing my favorite Disney princesses to riding the thrilling roller coasters, I had a blast. So if you’re looking for some fun and adventure during your time in Paris, definitely be sure to check out Disneyland.
2. Père-Lachaise Cemetery
It sounds strange that I am recommending you visit a cemetery in Paris, but the Père-Lachaise Cemetery is unlike any other you will ever see.
This top spot is the final resting place of some of France’s most celebrated artists and writers, including Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, and Edith Piaf.
I have to admit that I’m into spooky places, so this was one of my favorite spots to visit during my time in Paris but if you’re not into visiting cemeteries, skip it!
3. Sainte Chapelle
The Sainte Chapelle is a gorgeous church that houses some top religious artifacts. This stunning structure was built in 1246 and featured exquisite stained glass windows and top-notch architecture.
The beautiful purple hues of the windows make this top spot a must-visit for any art or history lover.
4. Seine River Cruise
While I keep missing out on taking a Seine River Cruise, it is something I’m determined to do on my next trip to Paris. The Seine River runs through Paris and offers serene views of the city’s top landmarks and riverfront attractions.
Even if you are a solo traveler, I highly recommend you at least take a long walk along the Seine River, as it’s beautiful and offers top photo ops.
5. Paris Flea Market
If you’re a fan of vintage shops and top-quality antiques, then the Paris Flea Market is definitely for you. This flea market is located in Saint-Ouen, which is on the outskirts of Paris and features dozens of stalls that sell unique, one-of-a-kind items.
I spent a fun and relaxing day strolling through the market window shopping. There are even food vendors, so I was able to top off my day of exploring with a delicious lunch!
Whether you’re looking for cool clothes or top home decor, you will find something interesting at the Paris Flea Market.
